Location:  Myasnikyan, Armavir, RA

We had the privilege of collaborating with renowned Spanish architect Alberto Campo Baeza on the design of the Youredjian Child and Family Center in Armavir, Armenia, near the biblical Mount Ararat. This single-story, 406/250-square-meter facility is defined by its minimalist square plan, supported by equidistant exposed concrete pillars. Its white walls and expansive glass surfaces create a serene environment, maximizing natural light while providing necessary shade—striking a balance between openness and protection.

Design approach focused on integrating the building seamlessly into its surroundings while maintaining an elegant simplicity. The clear architectural lines establish a strong connection with the landscape, offering unobstructed views of Mount Ararat. The bright and open interiors enhance natural light penetration, creating a warm and peaceful environment for children and parents. The thoughtful balance of solid and transparent elements reinforces the building’s function as a space of care and support.
